Sessional Teaching Essentials Program

Welcome to STEP online resources!

STEP is a pathway to teaching excellence for all sessional staff at Monash University. The aim of the program is to promote high quality teaching in classes other than lectures (seminars, tutorials, laboratories, studios, etc). Sessional staff new to teaching at Monash are expected to participate in STEP (or equivalent) workshops. STEP core modules are supplemented by web-based resources provided here. These resources are designed to provide staff with more information, tips and strategies to further their development as quality teachers.
